Sharkmob was founded in 2017 and has gone from a small start-up to a global studio group with over 400 employees and studios in Malmö and London. We are a full-fledged game studio working on online multiplayer games using Unreal 5. Our first game, Bloodhunt, is a battle royale set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe and was released in 2022. Currently, Sharkmob is developing two original IP’s for PC and console.
As part of the Alliance, Sharkmob will:
a) Conduct a baseline study of current carbon emissions.
b) Reduce and offset carbon footprint in 2024, with the aim to achieve net-zero emissions by 2030.
c) Join the decarbonization working group.
d) For future games currently under development, inspire action through play by integrating educational content on the environment and green nudges in games (take part in the Green Game Jam)
e) For future games currently under development, working on issues through gameplay that would drive action on specific agenda items.
