In joining the Alliance, Tencent Games' member commitments include the following:
- As part of Tencent’s business, Tencent Games aligned with Tencent to reduce our emissions in line with a carbon neutrality target for 2030, and a science-based pathway towards achieving it year-over-year.
- Establish a dedicated internal green taskforce – Tencent Games Green Tribe to champion sustainability best practices among its studio network and global player communities. It will serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, elevating green game design education across its studios.
- Work with the industry and experts to explore potential programs to educate and generate positive influence among younger players within the first two years of our membership.
- Support the Alliance and the industry to develop trainings and sharing sessions for game developers to incorporate sustainable principles in development cycles.
