The Green Game Jam is an annual challenge for studios who work on live games with existing audiences. This year, studios will build new content into their games that engages players on coral reefs or rainforests – whilst collectively fundraising for one of these impact partners, both of whom are recognised global leaders in conservation within these critical ecosystems.
Oceana is the world’s leading ocean advocacy group, campaigning to protect marine biodiversity, restore fisheries, and safeguard the livelihoods of those dependent on healthy seas. The Rainforest Alliance is a global nonprofit working to protect forests, biodiversity, and the climate while improving the livelihoods of farmers and forest communities, driving systemic change through certification and landscape programs.
With these partnerships, the Green Game Jam 2026 will focus on protecting and restoring coral reefs and rainforests, combining the power of the gaming industry with expert conservation knowledge. Together, the aim is to fuel the largest-impact Green Game Jam yet, inspiring studios and players to take meaningful action for ecosystems and the communities that rely on them.
